School is seriously taking a toll on me.

Bands, FYP, projects, presentations, assignments. And I haven't talked about revision.

Common test is nearing. I haven't been awake for lectures. Band performances -beginning and end of the month. Job - money. Great Singapore Sale - Retail Therapy. Time - not enough. Sleep - Huh? What's that.

I'd really welcome me falling sick big time. So I can finally have my rest. Then again, after my rest, I might have to clear the huge accumulated pile of work. So I take back what I said.

Can't wait for the end of the month. I'd really feel more at ease. Was at my block's lift lobby and I saw a poster with 2 sentences which I felt were quite meaningful:

"Success comes to those who believe they can"
"Mistakes are not failures - learn from them"

And now, it's back to clearing more work...

Well, here's a quick update about me so far and my new semester.

Those who have noticed, my cheeks look rather red. At times it looks like I've got a sun burnt, I'm blushing or I put blusher, well, you're wrong. It's none of those. I'm currently applying a lotion that exfoliates the skin. And so, having these red cheeks are a result of putting that.

Projects and assignments are killing me. I can hardly breathe amongst the swarm of mess. I'm also rather busy with work and band. Taking a toll on me.I'm glad that the public holiday and the e-learning break is here. It's definitely needed for a breather.

Went to church for SJC vigil. And I thought I'd just try my luck and asked my dad if I could drive the car home. Suprisingly, without hesitation, he agreed. And well, we didn't went home straight. We went for supper at Bukit Batok. And after that, I drove Carol home. Hur hur hur. Had to pass through slopes, roundabouts, U turns and loads of traffic but I still fear slopes, having seen a minor accident happened right in front of my eyes this morning on a slope. But still, I drove home safely. And my dad was definitely in a good mood. Coz there was a conversation that happened just after I parked the car:

Me: " Do you want to remove the P plate?"
Dad: " No need la. Just leave it there."
Mum: " Hmm.. People will give way to you." *chuckles*"
Dad: "It's not an offence to put that right? If people asks, I'll just say that I forgot my son drives too." (in a commercial ad kind of tone)

As they say, good things must come to an end. So, for me, at the end of a rather happy day, I've to feel a little sad before I go to bed. Happened to come across something and I'm strongly affected by it. I just hope everything will be fine soon.
