Work, work.
The week flew by just like that. Time sure flies when you're really busy and kept occupied. Was at work throughout the week. Though it was tiring, I really enjoyed myself. Not to mention the little bit of extra pocket money for this festive season. Feeling darn proud (of what went on during the week) and full of satisfaction. And somehow, when everything's in a mad mad rush, I just enjoy the whole thing. And Glenda just loves to make fun of me whenever she sees me enjoying these saddistic moments...

20 hours of work
Aching muscles, back and bones. That's what I'm experiencing now. Working 20 hours, from 1 PM to 10 AM is no joke. Especially when you're moving office. But it was pretty fun moving with just me and Glenda in the wee hours. She's damn crap when she's tired. And she made me laugh so hard I could barely move. And it's back to work tmr. *YAWWWWNNN*

Dooms day..
I hate Immunology! Urgh. Especially when she rushes through the last 2 chapters just for the sake of it. I swear, by 9 AM later, I'm gonna forget what ever I have studied over the past 2 days. Vivien, from my IS class, is such a nice girl. Though we aren't really close or anything, just in the same IS class for both French and Global Cities, she just came and wished me all the best for the common tests. It might not really seem anything much to anyone else. But somehow, I just feel touched and appreciative of her guesture.

Something to ponder over..
A student asks a teacher: "What is love?" The teacher said: "In order to answer your question, go to the paddy field and choose the biggest paddy and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick." The student went to the field, went through the first row, he saw one big paddy, but he wondered whether there is a bigger one or not. Not long, he saw another bigger paddy... but may be there is an even bigger one waiting for him. Later, when he finished more than half of the paddy field, he started to realize that the paddy was not as big as the previous one he saw, he knew he had missed the biggest one, and he regretted. So, he ended up went back to the teacher empty-handed. The teacher told him, that's love... you keep looking for a better one, but when later you realized, you have already missed the person. The student asked: "What is marriage then?" The teacher said: "In order to answer your question, go to the corn field and choose the biggest corn and come back. But the rule is: you can go through them only once and cannot turn back to pick." The student went to the corn field, this time he is careful not to repeat the previous mistake, when he reach the middle of the field, he has picked one medium corn that he feel satisfied, and went back to the teacher. The teacher told him, this time you bring back a corn.... you look for one that is just nice, and you have faith and believe this is the best one you get.... that is marriage.

I guess after the last exchange of sms yesterday night, after a lengthy 3 days or so, it's kinda clear what was really expected since the start of August. Hope that when you enter NS later on in the week, it'll teach you to care a bit more for those around you rather than just yourself. No more wanting things your way but it's time to give in as well. No more the self conceited and self centered you. Hopefully you'll be a changed person in time to come. Take care, my friend. And enjoy your time in NS. =)

I've never met any as self-conceited and self centered as you. Please spare a thought for others even if it's not for you. What has happened today, well, was probably just karma.

More random pictures from my handphone
I'm not sure if I posted up this picture before but I kinda like it. Heh. That was last semester during ACMB practical. Pretty goofy smile I had there. But this was a snap shot taken by Bernice. This is a portion of land used for cultivating aloe vera. Yes, this is in Singapore, Sungei Tengah Agrotechnology Park to be exact. My plants. They're growing beautifully! On the left side, in front, it's the lettuce. On the right, it's the basil. And somewhere in between on the right is the pak choy. And right at the back, there is the kang kong. The lettuce was just harvested today. Pak choy, lettuce and basil can only be harvested once. But the kangkong can just continue to be left to harvest for 6 months. We've had our second harvest. So probably when school reopens, we'll have another harvest! My leaf culture. Though it was badly contaminated with fungus. Only one plate was uncontaminated out of the 64 plates we had cultured. I think I prefer cell culture. Less contamination, much more satisfaction. And here's the big mess of it..
